Mysterious, warlike, and treacherous, they call themselves the Druchii. Unlike other fantasy settings, the Dark Elves of Warhammer are pale skinned with raven hair and do not live underground. Dark Elves are fallen High Elves - and they harbor complete hatred for their former kindred.
Dark Elves excel in magic and trickery. Their armies favor agility and maneuverability over heavy armor. They constantly raid the lands of the High Elves, taking food, equipment, money, and slaves. Slaves are used for grunt work and ritual sacrifices to their god Khaine.
Dark Elves always have a hidden agenda. They will only make an alliance when it greatly benefits themselves. In Warhammer Online, the Dark Elves are using the Greenskins and armies of Chaos to weaken and distract their nemisis - the High Elves.
